It takes a village to raise a child
We are here to help you find your village

A Bit About Me

I’m Jodi King mum, wife, and the proudest Nana you’ll ever meet.

Becoming a Nana at 38 lit a fire in me. It brought everything back. At 18, I was a single mum. I had an amazing, supportive family but still, I felt isolated. Judged. Out of place. I needed connection, not criticism. People who got it, without me having to explain.

When my daughter Jae gave birth to my grandson Karter, I saw how little had changed. Young mums still feeling left out. Still being misunderstood. And I thought enough is enough.

Six months later, I launched Teens with Tots. I started small, but with a big heart. No fancy budget, just vision, determination, and the right people backing me. We built something real. And it grew. That’s when Mothership Life came into being not just for young mums, but for every kind of family.

Because here’s what I know now:
💛 We were never meant to do this alone.
💛 We thrive in community.
💛 The old saying is true it does take a village. And if one doesn’t exist, we build it.

So, this is me. Passionate, real, driven, and always learning. I don’t have all the answers but I know how to listen, how to show up, and how to love loudly.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey, whether you’ve cheered me on or challenged me thank you. For the blessings, and the lessons. I’m grateful for them all.

Much love,
JK x
